The Capital Area Human Resource Association (CAHRA) serves the tri-county area Human Resource professionals by providing networking, education and resources designed to enhance professional growth and development.

The Chapter is committed to advancing the human resource profession and the capabilities of all human resource professionals to ensure that HR is an essential and effective partner in developing and executing organizational strategy.

CAHRA works actively to bring experience and new ideas together by focusing on practices and research in all areas of the HR field, supporting the field as a profession, and promoting personal interaction among local individuals.

We offer an opportunity to meet your peers to exchange ideas and discuss problems through monthly lunch meetings, half-day special events, legal updates and website information. 

 Our next meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 6, 2009 at River Hills Tennis Club.  The lunch buffet begins at 11:30 a.m. and our speaker will begin at noon.
